EOI Process – For Individuals & Families – Sponsored Applicants

The Department of Immigration in Australia regularly reviews thousands of the applications that are submitted by individuals and families that they receive through EOI. After a proper and thorough check, they will send invitations to the best candidates to apply through points tested skilled migration. As of now, this happens every two weeks.

There is a limited number of quotas for each of the occupation, called the occupational ceiling. People who have the best points score get the invitation. So people with a higher education, English scores, and work experience are the ones who have a better chance to get the invitation.

Time Limiter After Getting the Invitation

You should submit your visa application within 60 days of getting the invitation. It may be necessary for you to have sufficient and relevant work experience if you are applying for smaller jobs.

You need to contact the relevant assessing authority as they can tell you the eligibility requirement for each of the occupations that they are going to assess.
