Temporary Residence Transition Stream
All the visa holders that are under the subclass 457 who worked for almost two years in the same job for the nominating employer qualify for Temporary Residence Transition Stream. The employer, however, should be willing to give that individual a permanent job in that particular occupation.
Key Requirements For the Employers
An employer can nominate a person for this visa if they meet one of these requirements:
- The business is active and operates lawfully in regional Australia ( Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong, however, do not fall in regional Australia).
- They have a real need for a paid employee to fill in a certain position
- You have a requirement for the skilled position that is full-time which also falls under the applicant’s field. You should have a need for this position for at least the next two years.
- Willing to pay salary as per the market rate
- Business is complying with the workplace relations laws as well as immigration laws
- There should not be any adverse information about any person working in the company or about the business
Direct Entry Stream
It is for:
- People who nominate by an Australian Employer through the Direct Entry stream
- Individuals that did not or did work briefly in Australia
- All the temporary residents who are not eligible for the Temporary Residence Transition stream can apply for this visa
