Visitor Visa – Subclass 600
Using this visa, people can come and visit Australia:
They can come for leisure or business purpose. They might get a visa for 3,6 or 12 months. The visa charges might range from 140AUD to 1020AUD.
If you are going to use eVisitor (subclass 651), you do not have to pay any charge as it is free. There is a service charge of AUD$20 for Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601) visa.
You must have a valid passport when you apply for a visa.

Family Sponsored Visa
A family member who is residing in Australia can sponsor this visa. They should be an Australian citizen or permanent resident holder. The conditions are quite restrictive when you choose to get this visa instead of a tourist visa. In certain cases, they may require you to submit a security bond.
Instead, people can choose to apply for a tourist visa as it does not require any bonds or sponsorships.

Other Requirements
You need to plan on applying for the tourist stream of visitor visa if you are in Australia and have a valid visa. But, it should not have condition 8503 imposed on it.
Only certain passport holders can apply for this visa online when they are living outside Australia.
